These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Tojoadventuressuriname.com and all tour bookings made with TojoAdventures Suriname (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website or booking a tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed once payment (full or deposit, if applicable) is received.
Prices are listed in [currency] and may be subject to change before confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse a booking at our discretion.

2. Participant Requirements

Participants must meet the minimum age, fitness, and health requirements for each tour.
You are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs before the tour.
Participation is at your own risk.

3. Assumption of Risk

Adventure tours involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Physical exertion
Wildlife encounters
Weather conditions
Remote locations

By booking a tour, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our guides.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation Policy

By booking a tour with Tojo Adventure Suriname, you agree to the following cancellation terms and conditions.

Cancellation Fees

Upon booking confirmation:
A 10% fee of the total amount will be charged as administration and reservation costs.
Cancellation more than 2 months before departure:
25% of the total tour price will be charged.
Cancellation 1 month before departure:
50% of the total tour price will be charged.
Cancellation 2 weeks before departure:
75% of the total tour price will be charged.
Cancellation 1 week or less before departure:
100% of the total tour price will be charged.

Important Information

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
The date on which we receive the cancellation will be considered the official cancellation date.
Any applicable refunds will be processed within a reasonable period of time.

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel and cancellation insurance to cover unexpected circumstances.

5. Changes to Tours

We reserve the right to:

Modify itineraries
Change departure times
Substitute accommodations or activities
Cancel tours due to safety, weather, or operational reasons

Such changes do not entitle customers to compensation beyond what is stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters
Extreme weather
Government actions
Political unrest
Pandemics

7. Travel Documents & Insurance

You are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and vaccinations.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellations, and evacuation.

8. Behavior & Safety

We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour without refund if their behavior:

Endangers others
Violates local laws or customs
Disrupts the tour experience

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Tojo Adventures Suriname and may not be used without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tojo Adventures Suriname shall not be liable for:

Personal injury or death
Loss or damage to personal property
Delays or expenses caused by third parties

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Suriname, and any disputes shall be handled under its jurisdiction.
